Fun way to practice word families and easy to prep!
You will need to use the following materials with these cards:
Letter Tiles or Magnetic Letters
Cookie Sheets or Magnetic Dry-Erase Boards (only if using magnetic letters)
Preparation:
Print on cardstock, cut, and laminate.
Tips:
It is very easy to differentiate this activity. Once you have taught blends/digraphs, encourage students to spell word family words with blends/digraphs.
For students who are struggling with word families, start them with some of the simpler word families such as …-at, -eg, ig, -ot, -ug
