This is a program designed to systematically teach word level awareness using an Orton Gillingham based model. Students will learn to segment individual words within sentences by working their way through 7 learning steps:

1. 1:1 correspondence of words - 1-word sentence

2. 1:1 correspondence of words - 2-word sentences

3. 1:1 correspondence of words - 3-word sentences

4. 1:1 correspondence of words - 4-word sentences

5. 1:1 correspondence of words - 5-word sentences

6. Word recognition in "I See Sam" story pages

7. Auditory recognition of words within a sentence
