Word Problem Generator Activity & Two Themed Task Card Sets for sorting and solving! Numberless real world situations force learners to consider the context BEFORE just adding or multiplying the numbers! These cards were designed for third graders, hitting all grade 3 operations standards that will challenge your 4th graders too. They are basically self differentiating because when the time finally comes to solve the problems, you can allow students to choose their own numbers. The act of choosing numbers shows us another layer of their thinking.

These are a great small group intervention activity for 3rd-6th graders because we add our own numbers. Reuse the headers & recording sheets for ANY problems. Numberless cards can be reused with different numbers. Students can choose their own or teachers can provide them.
