Description
This work work or work on words center is a packet I made for my own classroom's center. I display each of the posters at my center, and I even number each one. In a bin of drawers or in folders at the center, I place copies of the papers to go along with each item for the center. I also have all the materials provided at the center, ready to use.
This packet includes posters and blackline copies for the following items at this center:
- Rainbow Write
- Scrabble Tiles (build and add the tiles)
- Stamp It Out (stamps)
- Scramble It (scramble words)
- ABC Order
- Mark It Up (consonants/vowels
- Build It
- Sort It (sort words)
- Three Times (write the words 3 times)
- Type It (keyboarding)
I personally use this center every single day with my 3rd grade students. Perfect for primary grades, but can be used with in all elementary grades. Common Core State Standards Aligned. Works with Daily 5.
My particular students use their spelling words, but they started the year with dolch words, fountas and pinnell words, and sight words.
Make sure you print the file so it "fits the page"

Great!
Looking forward to using this with my class.
Great resource. My only issue was that I bought the word cards that I thought go along with it and there are more words than spaces for each list. Any way to get editable documents so I can add more lines?
Wonderful! My students are loving these word work activities!!
