Description

Engage your students as they write exponential growth and decay function equations from a graph in this no-prep, self-checking digital mystery picture activity. Students will receive immediate feedback as they write each equation in the form y=a(b)^x. Your students will love digitally solving the puzzle and revealing the mystery picture as they correctly answer each question.

What's Included in the PDF Download?

  • Link to the self-checking digital activity using Google Sheets
  • A printable student worksheet (with the same problems as the digital activity)
  • Answer Key

How does it work?

Students will type the solution in the answer box below each problem. If your students answer each problem correctly, the answer box will turn green, and part of the picture will appear. If they answer incorrectly, the box will turn red. Your students will see a complete picture when all the problems are answered correctly!

Please note that this activity is made for use with Google Sheets.

All you need to do is assign this to students on any platform you can assign Google Sheets (i.e., Google Classroom). Make sure to select the option to make a copy for each student.
