Description
Practicing writing exponential functions is made easy with This Self-Checking chain activity. This activity is a low-prep and effective was to practice. Students will receive immediate feedback on the correctness of their answer by matching a problem card to its correct answer (found at the top of another card).
**How It Works:**
Materials Needed
- Glue or Tape (1 per group of 2 - 4 students
- Scissors (1 per group of 2 - 4 students)
- Activity Sheet copied single sided (1 per group of 2 - 4 students)
Activity Instructions:
For this activity I place students in groups of 2, 3, or 4, depending on how much time I have. For groups of 2, each student will complete 6 problems. For groups of 3, each student will complete 4 problems, and for groups of 4, each student will complete 3 problems.
I like to copy page one in one color and page two in a different color and use the finished products to hang up around the room or hallway as decorations.
