This is an editable version of my Poetry Writing Journal .

This is an E-Book with a clickable link Table of Contents, which will give your students a 9 week writing journal focusing on the genre of Poetry.

You will be able to go through the entire writing process or brainstorming, organizing, drafting, revising and editing for nine different poetry writing prompts. Then, students will choose a prize piece to publish. This allows students to get in depth practice into the genre of Narrative, while getting teacher commentary all along the process.

Each writing prompt includes: a brainstorming map, an outline, drafting pages, a revising checklist, an editing checklists and a grading rubric. There is also a comprehensive poetry Writing Score Report included for the journal as a whole.

This E-Book Writing Journal is a one stop shop for writing in the genre of Poetry Writing. Print this journal for each student, bind or place in a three ring binder and you have your entire nine weeks of writing covered.
