"I used this in my 8th-grade math class to teach how to model and write equations! It was great to use as a worksheet or as guided notes to help them understand how to pick out the correct keywords from the problems."

Description

This set of 7th grade math binder notes provides students with structured notes and practice for writing two-step equations. Students will be introduced to the general structure of a two-step equation and are guided through an example. Then there are 8 addition practice problems that may be used as further guided practice or independent practice. The last two examples provide students the opportunity to write a real-word situation, given the two-step equation. Note: This particular assignment does not ask students to solve, but rather focus on the process of writing the equations that could be used to solve.
