TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a teletherapist so I have started making more digital, no print materials! I have been loving life as an SLP with over 25 years of experience working with the pre-k crowd up through high school. I love finding new ways to engage students in learning and improve their social communication!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am loving the world of teletherapy and love making no print materials. Check out my boom cards for social skills! In the area of social communication, I believe in focused interventions. My social language products are meant to be comprehensive approaches to working on targeted social skills! After all, changing social skills in a process that typically occurs over a period of time using evidence-based interventions!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Published "The Reintegration Resource, a therapy manual for working with adolescents and adults with traumatic brain injury." I am on the Advisory Board for Free Spirit Publishing. I have been featured in the ASHA Leader and my blog, Badger State Speechy was named top SLP blog of 2018 by Speech Pathology Masters Programs and top 75 websites to follow in 2019.

Masters degree in Communication Disorders from University of Eau -Claire, Eau Claire, Wisconsin and considerable coursework in managing autism, social communication and articulation and phonological intervention.
