Imbed your students (at home or in class) into a virtual cell with this lab! Students will be transported from organelle to organelle to successfully complete protein synthesis of four different genes. They will compete both transcription and translation on various slides to create these proteins.

This is a great review activity, or can be used as some introductory notes on the major cell parts as well as the eight life functions necessary for survival. I call the life functions "RRREGNTS" as a mneumonic device. Here is a free resource to use if your school is moving away from actual snow days in favor of going "all virtual" on snow days and being required to post or teach lessons.
