Phonological Processes Chart

FREEBIE This is a phonological processes chart. According to ASHA, phonological disorders focus on predictable, rule-based errors (e.g., fronting, stopping, and final consonant deletion) that affect more than one sound. It is often difficult to clearly differentiate between articulation and phonological disorders; therefore, many researchers and clinicians prefer to use the broader term, "speech sound disorder," when referring to speech errors of unknown cause.  https://www.asha.org/Practice-

AAC: 6-Symbol Bilingual Core Boards

These are smaller core boards that target a variety of communicative functions. The benefit of teaching core words is that with a small vocabulary, the patient can communicate many more purposeful utterances (vs. increasing vocabulary by just teaching nouns). The reason for 6-symbol core boards is so that you focus on specific language at a time. It helps prevent frustration as the patient is less likely to feel overwhelmed if he/she were introduced a lot of vocabulary on the communication board
