This activity had my students all aflutter! This cut and paste activity is the perfect supplement to your lesson on the life cycle of a butterfly. Students will color, cut, and paste the pictures in the correct order and glue the correct label under each stage of the life cycle.
This is one of my favorite things to do each year. Cut these activity cards apart, roll them up and place each one in a balloon. Each morning choose a child to pop a numbered balloon to see what each day's special treat will be. (It's fun to include confetti in the balloons!) These activities are little to zero prep. I usually do this activity the last ten days of the school year. This product includes 20 activities to choose from. LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN!
Have your students color, cut and paste these verb and nouns in the correct column! Be sure to check out my Noun cut and paste activity as well!

This Grandparents Day card is a great way to let your students express their love for their grandparents. Each card will have a personal touch because each student will use their thumbprints to make bees buzzing around the flower on the inside of the card.
If you are using an ink pad for the thumbprints that might bleed through regular printer paper, I would suggest using card stock.

One of the funnest ways to remember the difference between b and d is to chant, "b's have bellies, d's have diapers!". This poster is a great resource to keep around the room. Mine stays under our alphabet strip on the wall but near a guided reading table is another great place to put it. The kids will reference it year round! This poster also comes with stickers featuring the image on the poster. I put one of these stickers on each child's desk but they could also find a home in a writing
