This is a great activity for Word Work, centers, or to use as spelling practice. Students write their spelling words, sight words, etc. in the shaded area across the bottom. Then they roll the die and practice writing and spelling the word above that number. There are 2 pages: one page asks students to write their spelling words, the other asks students to write their words. I included both depending on how you choose to use it!

{Doubles Bump} Fun and easy game to get students practicing their doubles facts. *2-3 player game *Just need dice and counters * Black & white and color option Directions: Roll the dice and double that number. Cover the double sum. If another players counter is there, BUMP it off. If your counter is already there, STACK it up and freeze the number! The player with the most sums covered is the winner!

I am a 7th year teacher who has taught both 1st and 2nd grade in North Carolina and New York.

My own education history

I grew up in Rochester, NY and moved to Charlotte, NC for college. I attained a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University Of North Carolina at Charlotte. I also earned a Master's Degree in K-12 Literacy Education from UNCC. After teaching in Charlotte for 5 years, I moved home to Rochester. I currently teach in the school district in which I attended as a child!
