This slide show teaches students how to figure out two-step rules for input output tables. It walks students through step by step how to determine if it is a two step rule and then how to figure out the rule.

This presentation walks students through how to match word problems to algebraic equations. It starts with reviewing the description of each of the four operations. From there, students are given examples of different word problems and must match the correct equation along with being given equations and must match a word problem to it.

This slideshow teaches students how to balance equations with an unknown. It starts with reviewing a variable and what the equal sign means. From there, students are walked through how to solve balancing equation problems and gives examples for them to practice together as a class.

This activity helps students collect data and create a bar graph to represent their data. First, students determine a question to ask. Looking for a fun and engaging way to teach or review data tables/frequency tables? This activity uses the natural engagement of food while also practicing data analysis skills. For this activity, each student will need a small amount of fruit loops to count and complete the frequency table. From there, students will answer questions about their data.
