Children will, with minimal verbal prompting, practice active listening skills such as turning their body towards the speaker, remaining focused on the speaker, and holding thoughts/questions until the speaker is finished.
Children will demonstrate through conversations and play an understanding that the sun, moon and stars are always in the sky even if they can’t be seen while exploring the effect of sunlight on starlight through simulation.
Children will use a combination of large muscles in the arms, hands, legs, and feet while using playground balls to throw underhand, kick, and/or bounce and catch.
Children will use theirsenses to observe and explore in-depth materials provided by an adult as they look at water levels and lift bottles of water to predict their weight before putting them on a scale.
