I have been teaching in Texas for 5 years. I have been teaching 1st grade for 3 years, and before that I substituted pre-k-6th grade for 2 years.
I believe that whatever captures a student's mind, captures them. So I am constantly on the look out for bright, energetic, and engaging lessons and ideas. I love taking boring worksheets and turning them into something fun and interactive. I believe that all activities should support a diverse group of learners in order to be effective.
