Mother of 6 and Teacher of 1 of the most amazing children on the planet! I have four sons, ages 27, 25, 23 and 20, two daughters, ages 20 and 15, one son-in-love and one daughter-in-love.
I've been a teacher for 16 years in grades PreK–12th grade. I am a homeschool teacher. Two have graduated college, one with a BS in Construction Science (21) and one with a BS in Business Management (22). Third oldest graduated high school May 2021 and is working FT in construction. Our next two graduated May 2024; one is working FT as an Admin Asst. and one is a college sophomore. Youngest is a high school sophomore with plans to graduate early.
I think I learn more from my students everyday than I could ever hope to teach them! I think you only stop learning when you are no longer breathing!
In my "former" life (before children!), I worked for a nationally-known Christian publisher as a freelance Editor after working full-time for several years as an Assistant Editor. Before that, I worked for Service Merchandise in their Advertising department, which is where I learned I love graphic design!
