Hi! I'm Dr. Kristen Taylor!
I'm here to help make a difference in the lives of education professionals through creating precise and practical resources and coaching!
As a previous teacher, coach, and administrator in public K-12 schools, I spent much of my time taking the curriculum we had and adjusting it to make it make sense for my staff and students. Though I enjoyed the work, it was a bittersweet experience- as it seemed as if what teachers were prepared to do through higher ed and teacher prep programs could not keep up with the reality of what was needed in a brick and mortar classroom. This led teachers (and myself) to have a lot of stress.
In 2019, I decided to abandon the idea of me working inside of a district and instead became self-employed doing what I love - helping teachers figure stuff out and supporting their self-care. I started Principal Packages to create both materials education professionals could use and self-care subscription boxes. Through TpT, Etsy, and Instagram, I noted that more people wanted the resources and coaching rather than the subscription boxes.
With the onset of the COVID-19 global pandemic, sourcing for these boxes became almost impossible for a small business owner like me - thus...
Precise Pedagogy was born to focus exclusively to support the development of educational professionals through precise and practical resources and coaching!
