About the store

Experience

For nearly a decade, I taught at an inner-city magnet school in a Title I district. Its small size let me dive into a wide range of courses—from PreAP Chemistry and Algebra through PreAP/Dual Enrollment Pre-Calculus to AP Calculus AB & BC. I’ve supported every kind of learner in those real-world classrooms. Let’s inspire the next generation—together!

Teaching style

In my classroom, inquiry reigned supreme. Students tackled broad, real-world problems using prior knowledge and peer collaboration—discovering concepts independently instead of waiting for direct instruction. This sparked curiosity, built resilience, and turned "I don't get it" into "We figured it out!" For it to work, materials had to be engaging, practice-rich, and assessment-ready—so I created Qwizy. Now, I’m thrilled to share these battle-tested resources with you. Let’s empower every learner, together.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry and a Master’s of Science in Mathematics.

Additional biographical information

Inquiry-based learning thrived in my room—but I quickly learned one size never fits all. To truly reach every student, from struggling to soaring, I embraced diverse strategies backed by differentiated materials. That’s why most Qwizy resources include multiple problem sets—ready for you to mix, match, and customize. Flexible. Inclusive. Teacher-approved. Let’s meet every learner where they are.
