I have been teaching for six years.
I love using manipulatives in the classroom because I feel it gives the students a more concrete understanding. And, I know that the students love hands-on learning, too:)
I am graduate of the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC with a BS in Elementary Education.
I have a son, who will turn three over the summer. Being a mother has definitely helped me become a better teacher. Just as teaching has helped prepare me for motherhood.
