I’m an educator, literacy advocate, editor, and curriculum creator with experience teaching in both public and private school settings across multiple grade levels and subject areas. Over the past several years, I have taught and supported students in literacy, literature, math, history, science, and intervention-focused instruction. My background includes reading fluency development, comprehension support, academic coaching, differentiated instruction, and creating engaging cross-curricular learning experiences.
I create resources that balance rigor, creativity, and accessibility because I believe students learn best when they feel challenged, supported, and connected to the material. My goal is always to help learners build confidence, strengthen critical thinking skills, and grow into more capable readers, writers, and communicators.

Teaching style
My teaching style is interactive, reflective, and student-centered. I blend constructivism and metacognition by helping students actively engage with learning while becoming more aware of how they think, read, and grow. In literacy, I strongly emphasize fluency, comprehension, discussion, and strategy practice because confident readers are built through intentional support and consistent practice. I love creating lessons that are rigorous without feeling overwhelming and engaging without losing academic depth.

When I’m not teaching or creating resources, I’m usually working on literacy initiatives, editing projects, or finding new ways to make learning more engaging for students and educators. I’m also the founder of Syntax Solutions L.C., where I provide editing, academic coaching, and literacy-focused educational services. My mission is rooted in increasing literacy access, supporting diverse learners, and helping students grow into confident readers, writers, and thinkers.
