So many ways to use this document! Includes multiples 2-12 skip counting on a numberline. Great hands on activity which allows students to visually see as our multiples increase so do the value of the numbers. I have it in poster size and use as an anchor chart to compare and contrast multiples. I also pass out to students to glue in their math journal. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Shopping Spree Project: Calculating Percent Discounts by Multiplying Decimals

I use this project during our multiplying decimals unit. Students apply their knowledge of decimals to calculate the percent discount on items at a store. Students create posters for their store and choose items to sell along with the price and percent discount. Other students can "buy" their items at a discounted price by calculating the percent discount. A rubric and practice assignment are included as well that I use to practice this skill.
