Little Red Hen Fractions and Multiples STEAM Cooking Lesson | Distance Learning
A lesson using a simple recipe to introduce the concept of fractions, parts of a whole, and multiples. This lesson brings in the story of the Little Red Hen and asks students to imagine that they are at an Employee Training Meeting at the "Little Red Hen, Inc." restaurant where they have been asked, “Who wants to help her make some fractions?” They will be learning about why fractions are useful and why they want to know how to use them while they make a Blueberry Bubble Loaf.
