Types of Lines Geometry Project covers the three types of lines: • Parallel Lines • Perpendicular Lines • Intersecting Lines After I teach the three kinds of lines, I like to print these papers for my students to randomly draw from a pile. Whichever paper they pick will be theirs to work on. They create a picture that involves whatever type of lines are printed on their paper . It is almost like "camouflaging" the lines without being too tricky. They have so much fun looking at each others' cr

This is a fun project I used around state testing time to help students review shapes and angles (and social studies-bonus!). Students worked in pairs to create a map of a town using specific terms that I picked out. They also had to write a key to show that they understood where they used parallel lines, certain shapes, etc. It was fun and creative- my favorite! :)
