Print, cut, glue, and laminate onto a piece of cardstock or poster paper. Students can practice writing on it with a dry-erase marker. Product preview is an example of how a Deaf Ed student used it for a STAAR independent practice writing prompt comparing passages about Rosa Parks and Ruby Bridges.

They follow a sentence template I have shown them, such as NOUN VERB ADJECTIVE NOUN, and place their cards in that order at their table. For the best quality, print them on the associated colored cardstock (verbs are yellow), cut out, and laminate. Verbs included are: run eat dance walk skip sleep laugh argue sit read write fly guess stop
