Gifted Education Math Game Design Project Rubric
I designed this rubric to assess my gifted math students as they chose from a project menu to create a game to practice geometry standards.
Teachers can use this rubric to assess a math game designed by their student(s) surrounding any math topic.

Geotown Project - geometry & map skills with distance learning option
The "Geotown" project encourages students to use their knowledge of 1-D and 2-D figures to create a map of a fictional town. I assign the project after we've covered our G.1.1 standard, and they work independently on it until the due date. Upon completion of their map, I have them trade maps with a partner, and they use a rubric to check each other's map (giving them more practice identifying 1-D and 2-D figures!).
