Snowflake Bentley is a wonderful book about William Bentley who photographed snowflake crystals. The activities here are designed to complement the book, but some could also be used separately. Activities include: vocabulary cards, a Snowbelt Map internet research activity, Snowflake Symmetry, Looking at Crystals activity, and making snowflake prints. STEM activities with a math and coding focus that celebrate Katherine Johnson; these activities pair with the read aloud A Computer Called Katherine.
