I created this lesson for my ETE class. It shows you how to create hyperlinks in MSOffice, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The screenshots within the document are resizable, so if you need to make changes, you can. While it's not in a lesson plan format. Feel free to make it so. It is more of a tutorial than a lesson. What's great about it-- is it explains that hyperlinks are not just for sources outside of a document (internet sources) but also for hyperlinks within large documents

The spreadsheet is formatted for the student to include the title, author, illustrator, date the book was read, a dropdown menu to rate the book, number of pages, recommendation, and the call number so their fellow classmates can find it if it is a library book. The number of pages will tally at the bottom. You can make the list longer by inserting rows.

iCan with iPad Kit

The following iCan with iPad checklist, licenses, and iPad violations were created to ensure that all of your students know how to use the iPad appropriately and continue to do so. You can have each student model the iCan with the iPad list so that they can get their "license". Then, as they are using the iPad, you can hand out a "violation". These are meant to reinforce what they NEED to be doing rather than that they were doing something wrong.

Feel free to download this powerpoint for free and modify it to fit your needs! I use this at the beginning of every year and show it to the students every single morning for 3 weeks, since that is the average amount of time it takes to form a habit. Eventually your students will say "Not this AGAIN!" They won't like it, but they will definitely remember your procedures. It is very important that they know them, because procedure problems are half of classroom management problems.
