This is a simple introduction activity for Kindergarten or 1st grade Gifted and Talented students to a Renaissance artists unit. Students cut out characteristic cards and paste them into the columns of "Renaissance Artist" or "Ninja Turtle." I usually use this as our first activity as we get into the artists, so this is not an incredibly difficult task.

These morning checklists I have used for the last three years to help foster independence and keep my students on track upon arrival. I laminate and cut out the checklists, stick velcro dots on each circle, and place a circle tag sticker on another velcro dot so students can move their velcro dot as they complete their morning tasks.
