Teaching style
As 2 Gifted Specialists at the elementary level, our teaching style is dynamic, student-centered, and designed to ignite curiosity and critical thinking in advanced learners. We blend inquiry-based learning with creative problem-solving, encouraging students to explore their passions while tackling challenging, real-world concepts. Our approach emphasizes differentiation—tailoring activities to meet the unique needs of gifted students—while fostering independence, collaboration, and a love for learning. Expect hands-on, engaging resources that stretch young minds beyond the standard curriculum, focusing on depth, complexity, and fun!
My own education history
Emma brings a unique blend of skills to our store, starting with an undergraduate degree in Hotel Management and Catering from Oxford University (UK), where she honed her creativity and attention to detail. She then pursued a Masters in Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), followed by a Masters in Gifted Education from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), deepening her expertise in supporting advanced learners.
Joshua holds an undergraduate degree in History with a minor in Geography from the University of Arkansas, giving him a strong foundation in interdisciplinary thinking and real-world connections. He earned a Masters in Education from UALR and further specialized with an Advanced Certification in Gifted and Talented Education from UALR, equipping him to design rigorous, engaging resources for gifted students.
