My Father's Dragon by Ruth Stiles Gannett Quizzes and Journal Prompts!

This book is one of my favorites! My students read this book in Literature Circles. I created a quiz for each chapter (I did combine chapter 9 with chapter 10 because they are shorter than the rest). The quizzes ask on the surface questions to check for comprehension as well as below the surface questions for increased rigor. Each quiz includes questions in a variety of formats: multiple choice, free response, true/false, putting events into chronological order, etc. Answer keys are included.
