I created this to teach my students about bridging to 10 when adding numbers 1-9 to 9 (like 6 + 9). We count to see how many circles are on the left side and count to see that there are 9 circles on the right side. We move one circle "over the bridge" to make 10 circles on the right side (so it becomes 5 + 10). Students know about making teen numbers when adding 10. They use the making teen skill to complete the bridging to 10. Add or delete circles on the right side to practice bridging more nu
