Free: Ordered Pairs Secret Code Grid
Students will practice locating ordered pairs on a coordinate graph using this secret code grid.
Students use the grid to locate letters to write their name using ordered pairs, write a secret message to a friend, a holiday greeting, practice spelling words, etc.
With No Prep necessary it is perfect to leave in a math center, morning work, enrichment, independent practice, and simple enough to leave for a substitute.

Making Line & Bar Graph Rubric (Grading Sheet)
A simple and easy-to-use rubric/grading sheet for both bar and line graphs. A copy could be attached to each graph graded. I simply list a string of numbers (with appropriate comments) that correspond to the domains of the rubric on the back of each graph. Then I put the rubric on an overhead when returning and discussing the graphs. This method is extremely fast and easy.

Bloc it!
Students solve multiplication problems and use the place value of the answer to locate squares "blocs" on quadrant I of the coordinate grid. The bloc has a color code to be followed. When all problems are solved, blocs located and colored, students have a special design. The design makes it easy for teachers to asses the student's work. Each page has 24 multiplication problems.
