Students will practice locating ordered pairs on a coordinate graph using this secret code grid. Students use the grid to locate letters to write their name using ordered pairs, write a secret message to a friend, a holiday greeting, practice spelling words, etc. With No Prep necessary it is perfect to leave in a math center, morning work, enrichment, independent practice, and simple enough to leave for a substitute.

A simple and easy-to-use rubric/grading sheet for both bar and line graphs. A copy could be attached to each graph graded. I simply list a string of numbers (with appropriate comments) that correspond to the domains of the rubric on the back of each graph. Then I put the rubric on an overhead when returning and discussing the graphs. This method is extremely fast and easy.
