Students will solve a series of questions revolved around measures of center and variability to earn a clue after checking answers with a teacher. Each clue will lead to an answer for a prize...(I usually did free time on math games.) My object for the clues was usually something to do with an event coming up, the time of year, something in the room, or a vocabulary word.

Mr. O’s Multiplication Dice Game!
This is a fun way to have students practice multiplication between numbers 2 to 12. I would assign this as a fun "homework" assignment to play with a parent/guardian (or an older family member/friend) to reinforce their comfort of foundation multiplication. Two players will play a friendly game using multiplication and two six-sided dice. The highest score after 6 rounds wins! Players take turns in each round and will add up the sum in each round.
