Lesson 1 of Jack and the beanstalk. Check out my page for the bundle! All lessons a PPT included!Predict an event based on clues. This can be used for any Talk for Writing hook. For Jack you could leave some beans near some soil and have some pots and a watering can. Students discuss what type of beans/seeds they are and what they might grow. Try and get them to think of a story or tv show where plants grow.

Give your classroom organization and order. Classroom structure gives children a sense of calm and grounding as the begin to develop an understanding of order in their environment and using both photos and icons is a great way to make visuals accessible for diverse learners. PYP Attributes Poster
This printable poster includes ten PYP monthly attributes and descriptions of each. It outlines the attributes we strive for in our classroom, and uses international baccalaureate values and vocabulary to do so.
