With 20 years of experience in the world of special education, I have worn many hats—from Behavior Technician and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to my most cherished role as a Licensed Special Education Teacher. Dual-certified in both Intensive and Moderate Special Needs and holding a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis, I specialize in creating resources where pedagogy meets data.
I spent years hand-crafting my own materials to bridge the gap between complex IEP objectives and daily classroom reality. Build a sentence for your students who have a hard time with writing curriculum. The students have a template of 4 or 3 squares. They are given a photo and then choices to make a sentence to go with the photo. They can learn to create the sentence alone or you can have them write the sentence after on paper. Have fun!
