Multiplication and Division Fact Family Math Mat

This mat is used to explain the inverse relationship between multiplication and division. By using numbers in the same fact family, the students will realize how the two operations are related. I have found it easiest to use it with stackable counting blocks. First, have the students write "multiplication" on the arrow pointing up. Then, have them write "division" on the arrow going down. Explain that multiplication makes smaller groups of objects into one larger group, while division takes

Nautical Sterilite Shoebox Labels

Dear teachers, Please enjoy this set of EDITABLE Sterilite Shoe Box Labels in a Nautical Theme. I use these particular shoe boxes for storing many things in my classroom, from task-cards by standard, to math games, and classrooms supplies. I like them because they have a small profile and are stackable in a safe way. I have stacked up to 10 high with out the risk of them toppling over. In the past I used a sticker type label but this year I knew I wanted something a bit more fancy! So here
