Now that is a whole lot of problems!!! ;)
I have taught 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade math.
Stations, hands on activities and small group instruction make big impacts in student learning. The problem is that they take time to create and prepare. I like to create stations and activities that take little to no prep time. After all, a teacher's time is so important and should be used wisely. I design my activities to save you time, but to also engage students in learning.
I also like to share ways that I organize and use my activities in my classroom. Some of my activities can be used more than one way.
I love to create fun and engaging activities that will make a difference when learning. I hope you find them helpful in your classroom.

I found these nice stackable paper trays at Dollar Tree and bought some to keep my copies organized for the week.
I've included an editable page in case you wanted to label your trays with something else.
They would work great to organize Literacy Centers or Math Centers.

Teaching style
I incorporate a little bit of everything when I teach, but mostly I facilitate learning. I feel variety is important. Technology, cooperative learning, group discussions and independent work are all important for students because it engages them in learning. I love to create fun, different and interesting activities, because that is what students like.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I am proud and honored to say that I have been elected as Teacher of the Year for a total of three times on the two campuses I have worked at. I have also been chosen as Teacher of the Year for my district twice, once as Elementary Teacher of the Year for my district and once as Secondary Teacher of the Year for my district.
My own education history
I graduated from Alice High School in Alice, Texas. I then attended Texas A&I University in Kingsville (now known as Texas A&M University in Kingsville, TAMUK), where I received an Associate's Degree and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics.
Additional biographical information
As a student, I always struggled with math, until I met some amazing high school math teachers that made it fun and interesting. Their amazing attitudes and fun lessons have inspired me and motivated me to make math fun and interesting for my students. Math is already difficult for some students, so why not make it fun and engaging for them!
