As students are solving their math problems, I'm walking around the room making notes for each student using the checklist and also writing down any written notes I need to remember. This is great for conferences and for keeping records of how students are performing. If you have any questions about CGI, I'd love to explain

This is an early numbers and amounts practice for Pre-K and Kindergarten students. A fun chalkboard design is the background for numbers 1 - 10 and some random amounts shown with counters. It's a great practice for early on in the year. Also, with my bilingual students, I used to have them alternate which language they called out the numbers in, sometimes in English and sometimes in their native tongue.
