The Birthday Walk- (free version)
This is the Montessori birthday celebration I have used in my classroom for years, and I'm sharing it here. This is a free version and does not include materials to make your own birthday celebration. I will have a paid version for new Montessori teachers who would like to implement this into their classrooms.

First 7 “Letters” of our Element Alphabet. My little Chemist got bored with his normal wall alphabet border of “A is for Apple”, “B is for Ball”, so we switched it up and used his favorite elements from the Periodic Table instead! This affords a vehicle for teachers to use for developing 3D spatial skills - it is part 2 of 3 - Deductive Rectilinear Spatial Development.
As with Part 1, this appears difficult and in the latter cases of the problems, it is a mental puzzle. However, I used to MODEL and work these with my self-contained 5th grade class, and they can do it - highly recommend using interlocking 2 cm cube blocks with the mat - manipulative - so the kiddos can mentally visualize the process.
