This is a project based learning assignment in which students plan, budget, shop for and prepare a meal for the class. Students love it and it provides great cross-curricular connections as they need to use skills from a variety of areas, all while improving their own practical life skills. A reflection is included at the end to be completed after the students have completed the project and event day.
