Computers in Kindergarten-2nd grade
Computers in K-2 is an interactive program which unlocks the mystery surrounding the keyboard and makes sense out of it for the young child.

Computers in K-2 begins by looking at the left hand and each finger of that hand. The child is moved from the concrete to the abstract when first introduced to a fictional town and the puppets who live in houses

Dr. Ning Zhang: Nature as Engineer-Researching Biomaterials
Dr. Ning Zhang explains how materials in nature like coconuts, shells, antlers and armadillo armor help her discover new ways to create strong biomaterials. Talking with a 5th grade class, she demonstrates the strength of egg shells and describes her research. Much of her work involves computer modeling. This video can be used with the "Can You Program a Robot" activity lesson plan.
