Weekly Behavior Reflection Report / Parent Communication
Sometimes our students need a little extra help and support. These weekly behavior reports can be used to assist you with providing students and parents with quick feedback.
Simply print the chart. Then the number of stars or the word that describes the student's day (Excellent, Great, Good, O.K., or Challenging). You can have students circle the chart themselves or you can circle for them. There is also an area for them to designate areas for increased focus. There is a place for the student,

I created these bookmarks to remind my students what they can do if they finish work early. I copy them on cardstock and cut apart. It definitely helped decrease off-task behavior.

Fun with shapes and playdoh
This is a fun activity to do with small children.
With the playdoh, they have to make the shape and place it inside the shape. This promotes and increases fine motor skills and manipulation.
If you feel the playdoh is too easy or simply want to change the activity, allow the child to make a shape within the lines of the shape, without any deviation.
This activity also promotes visual motor integration, which in the long run helps with their handwriting skills.

Alpha Byte Critters Letter Sizing is a perceptual-motor strategy that correlates letter size with corresponding animals: a giraffe for tall letters, a turtle for short letters, and a monkey tail for long letters that go under the line. I created this product quite a while back. This product has conference summary sheet, parent reminders, parent letters of their time and day, and a summary sheet for you so that you can keep track of what it is that you wanted to discuss.
