This is a simple seating chart of up to 24 students, in 4 rows of 6 students each. There is a space for the class days/times, class grade, teacher, number of students, student name, student details (where I usually add languages spoken, health information, or other important info), 5 boxes at the bottom to indicate which class of each day it is, and 16 boxes for assignments and student grade tracking. I use a 3, 2, 1 scale for mine and I put a circle around the box if the student is absent, this

Weekly Plan Spreadsheet

This Excel spreadsheet is designed for art, music, and P.E. teachers, but could be changed by other teachers as well. You can edit the document to input the names of the classes coming to you in each box. You can also change the time period of each class and the grade level. I assign my students to tables and each table has a color. I have 8 tables, but you can add more or delete if you have a different number. This is a great visual to display on the screen and to print out for substitute teachers. Students can enter the classroom, see their name and find their table quickly and easily. It is also very helpful when you need to reassign seats.
