Integrating learning throughout the day is one more way for students to build their skills and grow as learners. Each morning the students sign in and make a lunch choice using this form. Print it on cardstock and laminate or stick in a page protector sleeve. Students mark their lunch choice using a dry erase marker. I use this form with my children to record the lessons they have practiced, as well as to gain experience with charts and data collecting. Students also learn how to calculate averages. Every new practice session lets them try to achieve a higher score. For free typing software and online assessments, we use rapidtyping.com.
