Music incentive charts
I wanted incentive charts for grades 1-3 that didn't cost an arm & a leg! (I have aprox 300+ in grades 1-3!) so, I made my own, music themed, of course! Print out and copy as many times as you need, 4 per page, so save paper as well. I keep them on my cart in a square container clipped together with an index card with teacher's name on each group. I pass out at the beginning of each class.

This is a seating chart that can also be used to take a weekly content grade, behavior grade or even just attendance. It is organized into 9 weeks. You can specify the skill that was tested for each of the nine weeks, or even use the key to make a grading code that corresponds to certain behaviors. This is also useful for Art or any other subject where there would be a weekly grade.

Use these charts to track behavior and assessment data. Includes places for 9 weeks of behavior and 24 students. The fonts used in the file are: Beach Type, Pea Kylie (Kevin and Amanda Fonts for Peas) and MusicSync which are all free downloads from the internet. Feel free to use your own choice of fonts! French Horn Transposition Chart Index Card Template
This Transposition Chart for French Horn Players is great for easy access when working with a tuner. You will use a 3x5 Index Card (I personally use fun bright colors and "doubled sided" for it to be easier to find) and a regular computer printer. Secret Student - Classroom Management Strategy
At the start of each day, the teacher selects a secret student or students by giving them the 'secret student card'. The secret student's mission is to display positive, correct behaviour throughout the day. The trick is that no-one knows who the 'secret student' is. Throughout the day the teacher can say statements such as 'I love the way the secret student is sitting up nice and straight' which will then prompt the rest of the class to copy. I use this chart for class behavior. Each class gets one chart and at the end of the period I determine how many stickers they earned (1-3). Once they earn 20 stickers the class gets a prize. The students like seeing their progress (I have the charts taped on my cabinets) throughout the year!

Orchestra Responsibility Chart
Designed for younger students- this chart can be used to help keep track of when your students come to lessons with the materials or when they forget. You can add the dates for upcoming lessons and do a mail merge to personalize it with students' names from class lists in excel. Parents appreciate being able to see their students' responsibility and it provides immediate feedback to students too. This is based off of behavior intervention charts used to modify student behaviors.
