This Progressive Rhythmic Dictation was made to help my students “ease in” to rhythm dictation. The first two measures only have 1 beat to complete, then there are 2 beats empty, 3 beats empty, and the last measure is completely empty! This is a fully editable word doc to create 6 different seating charts for each of your band ensembles. Changing seats gives students a push to be independent and hear different things.
