I am having my students record their test scores throughout the year to ensure they are learning. This allows the students to practice creating bar graphs (or a line graph) so we can see where the students scores are and where we want them to be. We do not graph the STAAR scores, but we do put them on the top of the page for each student. By using pre-arranged forms, students will be aware of the plan, but will also have their green absent form to compare work - and the teacher will understand why work may not be done or different work completed with the color coding process.
