The Case of the Missing Math Trophy was designed for gifted and talented 5th graders so it could easily be used for either 5th or possibly 6th grade. It requires students to solve puzzles related to powers of ten, exponents, and multiplying multi-digit numbers based on word problems! The Breakout/Escape Room is in an easy to use Google Form that can be copied to Google Classroom. It requires students to solve 9 puzzles, ideal for a 20-30 minute class period, small group, or independent practice
