When my students come into math each day (I rotate classes), I have a math problem waiting for them on the board. When they come in, they get out this packet and solve the problem. It is a good way for them to get settled and get to work, instead of getting rowdy during the transition. If they have them all done, dated, and corrected they can turn in for bonus points on their test. This has been a game changer in my classroom and is also a great way to review!(:
